Blue Star Infotech limited is not giving relieving letter

September 27, 2008 · Filed Under experiences, questions · 3 Comments

I need help.

I have been working with Blue Star Infotech Limited, Bangalore from the past 2 yrs. and 7 months.
When I joined this company, notice period was 1 month. After 1 yr. they have increased notice period from 1 month to 3 months.
They have put circulation on intranet.
I did not sign any document where Notice period for 3 months is mentioned neither I am told to do that.
Now, I have given 30 days notice to my current organization and willing to pay for another two months also.
They are not agreed with my proposal and they are keeping me in the organization for full 3 months.
I am not getting relieving letter, experience letter and salary certificate as well unless and until I complete my full 3 months.

e-Union

All,

Looking at the way the corporate culture in india is going and to the top of it, the lawlessness in the country (India) where the survival of the fittest seems to be the rule of the day and anything can be accomplished through corrupt system, i think it is a good idea to subscribe to the E-union who had come up with a good concept of creating unions fighting for employee rights. If the organizations being so powerful with all the support from lawmakers and law protectors can form a syndicate in the name of NASSCOM, why cant a 5,00,000 employee workforce in IT cannot subscribe to unions? I’m sure we all share our experiences and we all have had enough bad experiences with the organizations and have silently taken lying down, at the most, just changed the jobs. The unions are a bad word in indian dictionary, however, Unions even exist in all the developed nations in the world. They are not against firing people however, if you fire, make sure proper severence package is provided to the employee. They are powerful, employee centric yet business friendly. Why cant such a thing exit in India?
If anyone knows how to approach these unions please post.

I was interviewed by a Tier-1 company almost 4 weeks back and they did not get back to me till date. I am quite sure that I am selected, but the salary remains to be negotiated.I have heard that there is a temporary freeze on recruitment. How far is this true?
