friends,
Good to knonw the information about each employer because it helps all of us.

Also it is known fact in the industry that there are both actual experienced professionals and experienced only by documents professionals too :) and we cant deny the fact that each company has only genuine professionals! It is a mix of both and more over some of the employer might hire knowingly just to get the work done and some of them might hire unknowingly!

Whatever Denya mentioned is point to be noted but not be pointed!

If the matter is genuine then why two different stories? and why different employments? So do we need to understand that there is some body who is troubling Denya here too? is it really believable? and on top of it, we have our friends like Neeraj who looks like always negative in life! sorry if it hurts people but these are facts!

According to me, clap can happen with two hands! So obviously if there is no such negative information or confirmed doubts, none of the employer has right to ask such questions! and I am sure none of the employer does it too. If they have done it for Denya, so there must be something wrong.

I do agree with the fact that none of the employer is gr8[sorry for generalising] and some of them might not have even ethics but still they might be leaders! Even in such cases, none of the employer can do these things to any body!

Even I too have around 7 plus years experience and interacted with MNCs and small companies but I never faced this issue at all. I also attended Wipro interview but I never got this treatment.

It is also a common fact that most of the employers now a days conducts background verification of candidates as well as employers by using discrete techniques and if there is any doubts, then they conduct "Interrogation" rather than interaction! which is a fact and I dont think we people need to support such documental professionals because in this competitive era, we all need to get a job and it should not so happen that the wrong person gets the job and the genuine will keep searching!

It is always good to mention the right information but not anything which defames some body without proper proofs.

As mentoined by one of the anonymous above, Wipro Top Mgt usually responds to these matters and definitely person can contact them provided if the matter is really genuine!

My best wishes and support is always there with such genuine matters which requires unity and help.

regards

I really do understand this Denya...it happens/happenned with all of us...not only at Wipro, but at loads of top-end orgs as well. It's just that, any org is made of ppl...and ppl might be good, they might be bad. But the takeaway is, it makes u strong..and more importantly, ensures that u personally will never do anything like this to anyone else. There r frustrated ppl everywhere...even i'm frustrated :-) but, the crux is, don't run away...face and fight, and give it back on their face...leave, but ensure that such ppl do not repeat it with others.
Keep ur spirits high...we all have struggled and r still struggling...everyone comes out of it and so will u..!! Lastly, an honest suggestion, in situations like these, where u intend to let others know(honestly) about ur experience, so that they can be sure of what happens in this industry, please..."DO NOT" name the organization. It puts a bad picture of WIPRO, which might not be the case in actuals. We all must understand, that forums like these r capable of influencing ppl to great degrees...than what we think they acually are..!! We must respect that strength, and utilize it with responsibility. I wish u all the best...!!

Hi MNC_chap ,

I was not against Wipro. It have provided lives to so many people. It is one among the top companies in India. But it didnt meant that this may not happen there..
I didnt meant the forum to show my frustrations, just let other people may knoe my experience so that if the same occurs to them they could go thru it.
Just imagine a situation where you are surrounded by 4 people and asking you questions like---
How much did you pay for getting these documents?
We know these documents are fake..
You are not going to achieve anything with this...

They are telling this with out having any proof with in them.
If you are a true person and you are sure about your documents and you experience what will you feel at this situation?

Regards,
Denya

well, 'Anonymous' and 'Boss'...the good thing 'bout this episode is that ppl do listen to this forum, as is obvious from the previous post from Denya.
But what I do not understand, is the attitude that drives ppl!!!"Sorry guys, actually today only I remembered of checking the post I submitted"..." posted this comment not harass anyone or not to point anyone in the company"...what in the whole world is this, Denya????
Frankly and sincerely, if you do not care to solve things, the way it affects others, pls do not post these kind of misleading 'fiction' into this forum. I personally work for Oracle, but do have quite a lot of respect for Wipro, it being an Indian home grown, rags to riches company. We complain, but let's also understand that it's companies like these, which have created so may careers, uplifted so my lives, and have been intrumental in giving the true picture of what India has to offer to the world. Today it's just because of these companies, that we 'start' at a package which our parents 'retired' with..!!
Sincerely, pls dont use this forum to mend out ur own frustrations. I feel sorry for ppl like Anonymous and Boss who put their concern, and even contacted ppl back at Wipro to publicly post their mail id's, who can actually help.
Pls dont take me otherwise, but these kind of episodes shall demotivate ppl to help those who actually need it, during times of crisis.

Hi,

Sorry guys, actually today only I remembered of checking the post I submitted.
This is because today I got a call from Wipro, and the person who called me informed me that she came to know about what happened to me very recently.
When she called I told her directly that if they had some doubt on my previous experience, they should have done a background verification on my company and on my experience before calling me and putting me in such an embarassing situation. She told me that she does not why the panel behaved like that.
She again asked me to send some documents.I was wondering what to do?I dont have any wish to work there now.But I want them to understand that what all I submitted and what all I have told is true.Just that much...

In the previous post you find some Denya. Its not me who have submitted this post.Someone else.

Now let me give the answers for the questions you have asked.
My previous company:Vana IT services
Website:www.vana.in,www.vanasolutions.com,
Contact no:080 2525 6907

I joined the company on Jan 2007 and left the company on Aug 2007.Now I am working in another company.

I applied for Wipro through submitting my resume in their site and no consultancy or contract involved.I got a mail and I attended the Tech interview on 6th Nov and they told me that I got selected. Also asked me to come with the original certification for verification the next day.All the stories happened after this when they asked me to come for a discussion on 12th November 2008.

If any of you guys have any more doubts on me mail me at: denyasebastian@gmail.com

I posted this comment not harass anyone or not to point anyone in the company, just others may know interview may also happens like this ....
So dont hesitate just to step out ,if you are hundred percent sure that you are true.Let them go.

Regards

denya, personally when i look at a website, for however small a company - and don't see a mgmt team with their exp listed, nothing about when the company was formed, but a huge list of clients and services offered its starts to look suspect. But that's just my opinion. ok but I give you the benefit of doubt. I urge you to follow this incident up with Wipro Corporate asap and I can assure you, it will be looked into. Please follow this document and write to the contacts listed with complete details on the incident, interview time, panel details and your contact details to ishwar(dot)hemrajani(at)wipro(dot)com and Suchitra(dot)babu(at)wipro(dot)com.I have worked for Wipro before, and it definitely has its share of problems, but I find most people who complain, just do not make an effort to get their problems resolved. It agree it takes a lot of following up, but when you are the one in need, you need to move.Good luck and keep us updated.
