Hello Readers,

Its nice to write to all of you again. I have been noticing the posts / comments and discussion for the past few weeks and find most of them very disturbing both for employees and employers.
For employers! yes the Cat is now out of the box!

But for employees who form the majority of our readers, it reflects our/ your perception and seems to speak more of you/ us sometimes that otherwise.
Being critical is your right and so shall it remain! But for a moment lets also learn to appreciate!

In the last few months Cognizant, Satyam, Wipro and Infosys brands have been brought to severe criticism in various posts and comments :( Being an ex-cognizant brain, i for one have seen many remarkable personalities within the company and so should be the case with brands like Infosys which has more than 68000 employees.

In the last few days, a CTS post ‘Promotion to retain resource’ has been steadily climbing our rankings. But not one comment has reflected the purpose for which this website was actually instituited. Organisations want to retain talent and so was it a move by the HR of the company to do so! Some cognizant offices even went to the extent of blocking our IP! for what?

The aim of this website is to give a platform to speak out about Un-Ethical corporate practices and also server as an Appreciation forum. It also should serve as a dashboard report for People up the Corporate ladder which sometimes are not aware because of their internal systems and ‘artificial firewalls’ to take corrective action.

To all the CTS’sers and ex-CTS’sers / Satya’mites and to all the readers of this blog! though being critical is acceptable lets also learn to appreciate our Manager and Colleagues. Lets support our Managers within organisations who stand up for a cause! Lets support managers who were terminated for wrong reasons! Lets talk about On-Site experiences! Lets talk about How your brand made your feel one day in the world!

For all those who say ‘Working in Infosys/CTS’ in the matrimonial column! You should be proud your company has made it worth it for you! Why not share that! For those who get a Home Loan at a full 3% lower that prevailing market rates! You do so because of your brand! Appreciate that!

There sure could be practices within companies that are not acceptable! Lets talk about that! But our independent verifications show that If Satyam or Wipro fired you or asked you to resign it probably was a fudging on the profile from your end! (Need not always be the case, we understand! and that’s why you have this forum) Blaming the company for your shortfalls is un-ethical on your end.

What also surprises the editorial board of this website is that we find links of this website being forwarded on the ‘Internal BB’ of companies but not many decide to say good about their brand! Is it a genuine thing or just a laid back view towards saying good things!

Appreciate! Like you! Someone also deserves a pat in the back!

Hello Readers,

Over the last few weeks, though its been nice to see that we have offered a platform to voice out corporate ‘mis-firings’ and the ‘not so right moves’ We have also come to see that more often that not, negative feedbacks is all that we are getting! If you have got anything good to say about your manager at your company tell us about it! Your housekeeping staff, We would love to listen! After all everybody needs a pat in the shoulders :)

Ok so lets face it! We are kicking a lot of dust and definetly uncomfortable for some! Whew! LIttle did we realise that so soon and so fast we would be here, having to hire a full time legal counsel!

Before all that! , a brief on how this site actually came into play? Well, the promoter of the site felt that a lot of employees who are wonderful assets to their companies generally never get recognized and even if they do, not adequately, which is rather sad and bad. So we worked on this site where people could appreciate their peers more in public which would serve as a motivation.

But as days passed, we realied that our anonymous posting option was receiving more issues than appreciations. The effect though was not initially desired but that again got us to review our editorial policy, when Tod came up with the thought that we use this website to help innocent, helpless employees to ask for help!

Sometimes employers get away with a lot of un-accceptable things courtesy their PR department. Now here we are trying to play the voice of the employees role!
