Accenture, Gurgaon : Mass walk-ins but not interviewing candidates
I recently had this experience with Accenture. I got a call from a consultant and was asked to appear for an interview in Accenture, Gurgaon. I went for the interview only to find that there are already a huge crowd waiting outside the office gate since the past 3-4 hours. There was no provision to sit, the place where the candidates were waiting was the area in front of the lift, without even a fan, forget an AC. The place was suffocating. And after waiting for such a long time, we were told to fill up a form with our details and that they will contact us later. I never received a call.

Accenture not taking people on board?
Recently we have seen so many consultants looking for FP&A professional to be hired by Accenture BPO. But Accenture is not giving offer letters to anybody. They have started recruiting for this post in the first week of August. Today my consultant told that even candidates who ere selected in first week of August have not been offered the Job although there HR has said that they will be hiring these folks. Does anybody else has this experience to share?

Many of us would face this problem. All these are big brands in India (or world) today. They cannot be compared on the basis of brand value. Though globally Accenture is into pure consulting and IBM is more into technology services, in India both carry out the same work as Infy or TCS. We will rule out the brand option completely though you can stick to Indian brands, which are well known names in Stock Market. Your would be father-in-law must have heard about Infy or Satyam, I mean getting a good bride/dowry may be easier for a Infy guy

Hi All,
This is to bring my bad experience with Accenture BPO. I joined this organization on October 2007 as a Recruitment Lead. The appraisal was done haphazardly and I was asked to leave. I felt unjustified on the same and no reason was given for the workload and pressure. Please share similar experiences anyone had with Accenture.
