Global Logic shows the door to 125 employees

In another hit to the IT sector, GlobalLogic, one of the largest outsourced product development companies in India, has laid off
about 125 employees. While 108 employees were asked to leave ‘due to poor grading in the appraisals’ concluded in October, another 17 were told to leave because their ‘skill sets fell obsolete’.

DSP Merrill Lynch fires!

The impact of the global turmoil has hit the Indian shores. DSP Merrill Lynch has started cutting staff in businesses affected by the crisis. Though only about 20 have been affected so far, the feeling is that there could be a couple of rounds of job cuts in India this year as Merrill Lynch gets ready for a global merger with Bank of America.

Wipro Fresher Policies

If someone joins Wipro, they keep 1 yr in the probation. During the probation period, employee can’t take any leave. If any leave taken then it will be deducted from 2nd year leave. They don’t mention such thing in offer letter. So, 1st year employees work for 13 months comparison to 12 months of other company. Even working hour is around 10 hrs which is against labour law.

i am an employee of hcl.i am undergoing training in chennai. Based on our test we were short listed and in that i have not performed well in of the test. I have been asked to go out , by the training dept in chennai. OK sir i accept the terms and conditions of our company but it should be a common rule for every one. I am not going to complain that i am not treated equal .
