I worked 6 years in IBM and got best contribution award also. All of a sudden my manager started telling me to improve my performance and started coming out with excuses every time we had a meeting . When help was asked he made sure that it was not given. At the end it was declared in spite of asking you, have not improved Even after working 15 hours also the rating has not changed

Beware of Managers in IBM !!

IBM probably the most reputed firm in India also has its pros and cons to work with.

I had a good amount of work experience in IBM (about 5 yrs) but the consequence of working that long was a complete disaster.
Few managers who were in very responsible position were supposed to give motivation and support to employees, were actually treating employees like ‘you are a gutter man’ instead and are doing even today.

PUNE: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman, working as a customer care executive at the International Business Machines’ (IBM) call centre at Phursungi, was allegedly gangraped by eight to 10 people, suspected to be cab drivers, on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday.
